Dexter--A GREAT show

If you have not watched Dexter--Sunday nights on Showtime 9 p.m.--You have to check it out. Next week is the Season finale. It's not for the weak at heart as Dexter works as a Forensic Tech in the Crime lab at a police station. Dexter leads a double life. He also rids the world of Criminals who escape the system. Dexter has just killed a prominent figure.

I also loved Six feet under and Queer as folk.

Have a great Monday!

Be thankful for your Good Life........

Have any of you ever seen an old friend or neighbor who you have not seen in years???? And they look terrible? I saw an old neighbor today who looks like hell. He and his wife have divorced, he's living with his mother and is no longer an electrician as he used to be.

His wife was crazy, so I don't really blame him for that. The years have not been kind to him. I am very grateful for what I have. I wish him all the happiness in the world.

It can't be easy moving back home at age 50.

Have a great evening everyone!!

Black Friday...........

Well, it's the day after Thanksgiving and is anyone sick of eating yet? I read a story on aol today about a WalMart worker getting trampled.
Wal-Mart Worker Trampled to Death - AOL Money & Finance

Have those New Yorkers lost their minds? I have shopped on black Friday, and will not do so for a long time.

Is Christmas shopping really more important than a person's life?

Think about it. You spend a half hour looking for a parking space, fight to get in the store, find your items and spend 30-40 minutes in line. You have the woman with the screaming baby, the preppie mom on her cell phone complaining how she's been waiting for 20 minutes already, the frugal woman who swears she saw this particular item was 60% off , not 50%. You'd like to switch lines? You can't. The line next to you is 12 people long.....................As your feet hurt and you have a headache, you finally get your items rung up. On your way to your car, you are constantly waiting for someone to pull out..........someone backing up who doesn't see you. ........ It's Xmas everyone!!!

It's Thanksgiving! Time to Pig out!

I do not post regularly on this blog. It's a shame too. I love those Monavie posts where the distributors go nuts. Don't waste your money on Monavie! How dare I compare Monavie to Orange Juice! It's that time of year again. Time to clean your house from top to bottom and start cooking. Take off your shoes, get all those groceries ready and fire up the stove. You spend the entire day in the kitchen, you sit down with your family. They eat for 30 minutes, and it's done. I'm dreading all those dishes I will have. But......oh! the leftovers..........Mmmmmmmmmm. Well, since my house is a mess, I must go. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I will blog again soon.

Sucker born every day for Monavie!

It's been a long time since I've posted. I notice when I post about Monavie, I get a lot of action. First, I'm not as crazy as you Monavie distributors may think. In today's economy it just doesn't make sense to spend extra money you dont' have on juice.

I exercise, I have coached my sons soccer team, and I actually lost weight the old fashion way--keeping active.

I want to warn anyone who wants to distribute Monavie. If you can get people to buy it--good for you. My husband and I tried it. We are two healthy adults, 44, 48. We have our general aches and pains. We tried a "free" bottle. Of course, Monavie distributors will tell you that you will have to drink Monavie for months before you notice results.

I have read claims it took only a few doses for some people. Take that free bottle and try it for youself. If you are a person who doesn't eat fruit, maybe you will see a difference. In my opinion, Monavie mixes too many fruits. Both my husband and I felt tired and lethargic after some of the morning doses.

My husband said the taste was bitter. I didnt' mind the taste, but at 40$ a bottle, it's too expensive. Eat right, exercise. Drink Orange Juice. It's only 2.99 a bottle.

As for you Monavie lovers, everyone has their opinion. I'm just teliing anyone who will read this that Monavie didnt' do a thing for my husband and I--It may work for some, but Monavie makes too many empty promises.

Have a great day all--my terrible alcholic neighbor is gone now. It's been over a year, and my other neighbor and I still laugh about him.

Do YOU have terrible neighbors?

Reasons men cheat..............

This is a sticky subject. No pun intended. I believe the #1 reason men cheat is because their wives no longer pay attention to them. It's not easy in today's world with work, kids, their sports. I can remember when married life turned mundane. After child #1, you're busy. Then you have child #2, busier. If your husband works all the time, it's hard to make time for each other. Can marriage survive infedelity? who knows. The one thing I can't stand is that single gal that can't seem to find a man, and finds YOURS. There is a reason she's single men. You may think she's the cat's meow........but if she was........why is she still single? It is true, most of the good ones are taken. There are a few good ones still single, but that single gal who looks for married men wont' find them. I say you have to try to keep the home fires burning. it's not easy. Especially with temptation. I have not cheated. The number one reason is because I love my family. Sure , there are cute guys out there........but I have too much to lose. Read on about cheating............http://www.zurinstitute.com/infidelity_affairs.pdf why do YOU think men/women cheat???

Do YOU have a horrible neighbor?

I think I should bring Horrible neighbor Tuesdays back. This is Friday, but I want to tell the story anyway. I've read so many stories of horrible neighbors, and I've seen many more horrible than mine. I can reflect now because my horrible redneck alcoholic neighbor Billy-Bob is now gone. First, he hurt himself while drunk. He fell about 20 feet from a ladder after drinking. He broke his arm, and made himself physically older than what he really is. Billy bob is/was an alcoholic. We would see him drinking all the time. I never realized how disgusting he really was until he moved. Billy Bob spent 80% of his time outside. So did his teenage children. I told my own 17 yr old he was not allowed to associate with them. My son had other ideas, however. This family was a thorn in the neighborhood's side for 3 years. Billy Bob was always in everyone else's business. When the neighbor behind him decided to build a house on his property, Billy Bob was there, asking to put the roof on. The neighbor said No. Billy Bob was not liscensed, and when he did work, he painted another neighbor's house, that took him 6 weeks. Do YOU have a horrible neighbor? There are things you can do. Be aware of what they do. I watched Billy Bob when i could, I was so amazed nothing horrible happened at his home because of his alcoholic, obnoxious behavior. Keep a record of things the neighbor does. Billy Bob flew under the radar for those 3 years. He's gone now, and my neighborhood is back to being peaceful again. Have a great weekend!

Monavie join the craze...........NOT

I have gotten a lot of criticism about Monavie. First of all, while Monavie may work for several people, it did not work for me. I'm not willing to spend $120.00 on 3 bottles to "See" if it works. $120.00 can buy my family of 5 a lot of groceries. I have to be practical. Second, I hear that your first few days of Monavie you could see results. It made me a little sick. If you are a person who is ill, won't you try anything to get better? What are the long term results of Monavie? The morning dose my husband and I drank made us Lethargic. I was actually tired from drinking it. It tasted heavy and had a bitter taste. the Monavie distributors and those who own the company WANT you to buy more. They'll tell you that you won't see results for a few months. One bottle of Monavie lasts 6 days! For a month, 30 days , 31 days that's 5 bottles. $200 you've spent. you can get a Gym membership for less. Try it if you want, but I want to hear from more people who got sick, or felt tired like I did. Monavie, in my opinion is a scam. They will promise you wealth. They will promise you good health. But don't believe people who sell a bottle of heavy syruped fruit juice for 40$ a bottle.

Where have all the real men gone?

I want to blog about a topic near and dear to my heart. I love manly men. The manlier the better. Today's man who is metrosexual and so picky and feminine, I just don't like it. I like the old days when men were cavemen. Ladies--wouldn't you like to be clubbed and dragged back to the cave? I know that's a bit far fetched, but I dont' like men who are feminine. My husband 's friend noticed he wore a pair of jeans to work one day. I hadn't even noticed. He told my husband it's not right to wear black socks with shorts. Or boots with shorts. i find a man in cacky shorts and hiking boots sexy! This is a man who got a little dirty from work, and wouldn't go to lunch in a casual dining restaurant. I say to hell with that.......wash your hands and go to lunch. When a man is more feminine than i am, it's a real turn off. So, how is your Monday going?

Tuesday is horrible neighbor day!

I'm going to bring this back in hope's of getting more horrible neighbor stories. The stories some have sent me are worse than my horrible neighbor stories. I'd like to tell you a little about a horrible alcoholic red-neck renter that lived in my neighborhood for 3 years. I'll break it up into sections, and post some each Tuesday. My husband thought this guy was alright. I know him as a horrible father, terrible provider, alcoholic loser. We live in a pretty quiet neighborhood in Annapolis , Md. It's a big mix of split foyers, Victorians, large 4 bedroom homes, and a few developments with even larger homes. In our little section, we have a lot of different homes. My redneck alcoholic neighbor, I'll call him Billy Bob, lived in a duplex, very old, and he was a renter. Not that there is anything wrong with renters------From the first week he and his old wife, and two teenagers moved in, we knew they were undesireables. The teenagers yelled at my son. They camped out on their front porch, and they lived across our street and down two doors, so they could see us come and go out of our driveway. Each time we'd leave, they would scream at my son. Now my son found this funny. By the time they left 3 years later, they had not paid their last month's rent ( security deposit was kept), one child moved in with an older 1/2 brother, the other child with another older 1/2 brother. His wife had left him. He was drinking non-stop, and had actually come by my driveway--walked up into my driveway-drunk-telling my husband and I how he made a mistake. This man's wife had left him before. We have found out that his family of three was living in a hotel ( Red Roof Inn) at one time. Some local church was paying for them to live there, because Billy Bob had no job, and was an alcoholic. Bad neighbors are hard to get rid of. There are so many of us who live our lives the best we know how, we are considerate to our neighbors. I'm not overly religious, but I thank god Billy Bob is gone. Everyone, check out this site for horrible neighbors. The only advice I can give you is...ladies.don't let your husband befriend the redneck loser alcoholic neighbor, it only makes things worse. We can only do so much, and I did not want my 9 yr old anywhere near this man! Pay attention to the things your horrible neighbor does. If there is anything illegal--CALL. This one family disrupted our peaceful little section of neighborhood and the sad thing is.........we had a family twice as bad living two blocks away, and those poor ppl were terrorized. Locate, Rate, and Share Good and Bad Neighbors Before and After You Move

check out that site. If you think you're neighbors are horrible, you may be surprised. Have a great week!

What's on YOUR blog?

Here's a comical look at blogs I've bookmarked. I consider myself very connected to the internet, and I love to read blogs. I love reading the neighbor from hell blog because I had a few neighbors from hell. I started to tell one story one day, but it looked like no one cared. Do YOU want to read how my neighbor's wife tried to kill him? Hell, I'd read that. I have lived next door to two neighbors who have gone from sane, to insane. They were both women. No comment on their gender, please.

Here's a look on what everyone else is blogging about. First of all I just saw where Janet Jackson says she might be allergic to marriage. Janet-correction-you're just not very good at it OR you pick the wrong partners. Allergic to marriage? lol...................

o.k. I just realized i'm on the wrong screen name. Well, I came across this blog this morning. Don't you hate when you drive by someone's house and they have tacky Xmas displays? This site is full of them.

Enjoy the laugh and I'll post more later. http://tackychristmasyards.com/

Where are the parents?

There was an article in my paper today about 3 15 yr old boys sending a harassing cell phone message to a girl. First of all, who's paying all these cell phone bills? Parents- a cell phone is a privedge, not a right. I'd take any and all cell phones away from all the boys. I have a little experience raising boys. I have 3. They are ages 23, 17, and 9. As the old saying goes, boys will be boys, but someone has to watch them! I'm not saying put them on a nanny cam, but parents! Shame on you. These days someone doesn't just stalk you the old fashioned way. You get harrassed on your MySpace account, text messages, cell phone messages, and if they are really bright---a call to your hard line and leaving a voice mail. One that parents can hear. I have some advice for the parents of these unruly boys who thought it was cool to prank a poor girl with pillowcases over their heads, and holding a gun. They are 15. Who's gun is that? Well, well, looks like the father needs to put his guns away from the little boys. My 23 yr old will act like a fool at times. Kids will do whatever they can get away with. O.k. so the boys said it was a prank. Take their cell phones away. For a long time. Once some of these bratty children don't have their cell phones, they will realize they can't live without them. We did, but the children of today need them. ! The bottom line is I'm not a perfect parent, I dont pretend to be.....but the day my son starts sending threatening cell phone messages is the day he loses his phone. Have a great day--Happy Valentine's day tomorrow. Have you gotten your special someone a gift?

Monavie! What Chaos!

Hello again. I've been so busy lately, I haven't had time to post. There is one topic I'm passionate about, and it's Monavie! Monavie is a health drink that has several different fruits, and promises to make you healthy. One of the problems is that it's $40.00 a bottle. A bottle will only last you 6 days if you ration it for 2 oz in the morning and 2 oz at night. My husband and I tried monavie. I did not have negative expectations going in. I have received several comments blasting me, but for all of you wanting to know more about Monavie, you need to read this. Monavie is a multi-level marketing plan. Your distributor will no doubt try to get you to become a distributor also. It's just too expensive of a drink, and I didn't see positive results. Perhaps if a person doesn't eat fruit or eat healthy, they may see results, but I'd have to see proof of their before and after. At $40 a week roughly, you'd spend $160.00 on this juice per month per person. I've seen ads where a person is drinking an entire glass! Let me tell you again about my/my husband's experience with Monavie, and you can judge for yourself--or better yet--ask your distributor to give you a bottle for free. My husband and I are 47, 43. We're in good health. I eat healthy. Yes, I do cook my vegetables, and I eat lots of fruit daily. My husband eats a lot of fast foods, so you'd think Monavie would be a good change for him. We started taking Monavie 2 x a day for about a week. My husband/I both noticed after we drank the morning dosage, we got tired. About 4 x that week, I got a headache after a morning dose. and YES i did eat breakfast. I thought about it, and realized that with all the fruits in Monavie, perhaps it was too much fruit. The night time dosage was o.k., since my husband/I both became a little tired again. My husband, who is healthy, and is not overweight said he saw no difference drinking monavie. Although the skeptics would say use it for three months--I'm sorry, I read on a few blogs where some people could see instant results. I also read where certain ppl got sick. Dont' let anyone talk you into anything. At $40 pr bottle , there is a lot of money to be made off this health drink. There are so many other , cheaper options out there, try them for yourself. I know a distributor who is 45, and a little overweight. He will tell you it's made a difference, but he's still complaining about all his aches and pains, and was recently down with a cold. He's been drinking Monavie for 8 months. Don't be fooled. Nothing is better than eating right and exercising. A glass of Apple Juice at 2.79 a bottle is probably better for you. Have a great week!
